Another important factor, that is many times overlooked, is that by exercising you put on muscle, which will cause you to always burn more calories because as you walk around you’re working those muscles.

Whatever you do, don’t set your goal at losing 50 or 100 pounds, set your goal at losing 1 pound, and when you’ve reached it, go for one more. Losing weight is really not a difficult task, what is hard is changing the habits of eating constantly and not exercising near enough.
